180/65 15 Tire Review Highlights

Tigar Wintera rated 90% while driving a Peugeot 301
Driving on a combination of roads for 40000 average miles
The car was bought in 2018 and it had 4 tigar winter tires on it, the tires are from 2015 rear and 2016 front. The car was driven moderately, but I tried to skid a couple of times in dry and wet conditions and failed. It wasn't so good in the snow, but I can't say that there were many skids and the tire is really fantastic. I hope that they will not spoil the mixture in production. I will definitely buy it again.

Michelin CrossClimate rated 91% while driving a Dacia Logan
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
they seem to pick up EVERY pebble on the road surface, be it tarmac or gravel. Some don't get away from the tread until very high speed is reached and when they do, well... a solid bang in the bodywork is what happens.

Otherwise, very good in the dry, exceptional in the wet, comfortable, low rolling resistance, translating both into low noise and good fuel consumption. Looking forward for some snow and ice.

Continental WinterContact TS830 rated 80% while driving a Citroën xsara picasso
Driving on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
Hi,
I listed my tires as Conti TS830 as they are from the same stable but they are in fact Gislaved Nordfrost.
Yesterday morning I had to drive my Citroen Picasso from Rugby to London and back. Unfortunately (for others, not me) the central section of my journey through Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire the M1 was down to 1 lane & temperature dropped to minus 7 . When that lane slowed to 40 MPH I pulled into lane 3 on 2-3 inches of dirty snow. I drove the next 20 miles almost on my own at least 10MPH faster - often more, than those stuck in lane 2. I was eventually joined by one of the many Range Rovers I had overtaken and a German registered Passat - obviously on snow tires too. I am now retired (from the tire trade) why do so few people in UK realize that they need these tires in the winter. It is a win win situation.
