The Best All Season Tires for 2024 / 2025
2nd of 9 tires
  • Highest dry performance rating, wet performance within 1% of top-rated, handling characteristics most similar to summer tires.
  • Median snow performance, highest ride firmness, among the highest rolling resistance values.
  • The Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is the tire you'd fit of the second places if you live in a mild climate, it was the best in the dry, a whisker off the best in the wet and of all the tires, it felt the closest to a summer tire. It's drawbacks, well, it was very average in the snow, had a firmer ride than the other tires and a high rolling resistance..

The Best All Season Tires for 2024
2nd of 7 tires
  • Good in the dry and wet, good aquaplaning resistance, low wear, good value.
  • Below average snow performance (but still way ahead of a summer tire), average rolling resistance.
  • The new Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is a well balanced mild climate all season tire. Bridgestone has clearly focused on improving the treadlife of the tire, which historically has been a weak point, while retaining the excellent dry and wet performance. The snow performance wasn't great compared to the best, but it's going to be way better than a summer tire so if you're in a region that rarely gets snow, this is a really great tire. The only thing it seems to have reduced in order to improve the wear is rolling resistance, as that was relatively high, but overall the new Bridgestone is an excellent product.

Top 3 Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 Reviews

Given 90% while driving a Ford Mondeo Titanium X (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 300 average miles
Hi, I've done around 500km on new Turanza, mainly in city. I've got Mondeo mk4 1.6TDCI after chip. I've used previously Vredestein Quatrac Pro. I've have tested so far Bridgestone on the dry and wet in 20-5C. So far they more comfortable than Vredestein Quatrac Pro, noise is around the same (so they rather quiet tires - I've been using 225/50 R17 (not a standard Mondeo mk4, but similiar size (a bit bigger than standard 215/50R17 and smaller than next standard tire 235/45R18))). On dry Bridgestones are more gripper than Vredestein and on wet the are excellent compared to Vredestein. On Quatrac Pro when you drive through a deep puddle / water it tears the steering wheel out of your hands and you have to use both hands to keep the steering wheel, on Bridgestone you use 1 hand (not both) and you don't have to much strength to keep the steering wheel still. But what's more important on Quatrac Pro I was afraid of turning left (in UK right) at crossroads. Vredestein doesn't have grip when you set off on wet. You have to use the gas pedal very gently to keep the wheels from spinning. Bridgestones are almost as good as Michelin Primacy 4 (which I use in the summer) on the wet!. I haven't so far tested the tire in the hot summer (when temperature goes above 20 I will switch to Primacy 4), nor on ice and snow, so I set NA for wear, buy again, snow and ice grip.

2 tires have sawtooth from the factory. Very high rolling resistance. They are very loud in the dry.

Given 88% while driving a Renault (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
I put them on a Renault Megane from 2020 petrol 160 horses and during the time with them it doesn't feel like I have 4 season tires, compared to (pilot sport 5). Very good dry and wet grip also very comfortable. I can't say anything about noise because the car does not have good noise insulation. Personally, they are great tires for me. I hope they are as good in winter.

Given 84% while driving a Renault Austral Full hybrid (235/45 R20) on a combination of roads for 5,000 easy going miles
These are slightly quieter than the factory fitted tires ( Michelin) and notice no difference in dry or wet in summer but noticeable increase in grip and handling in the typical Highlands cold/very wet roads, been a very cold and very wet previous winter and has handled the snowy bits quite well ( not as good as crossclimate 2's in the snow) coming into another winter here in the Highlands, so will see how this winter pans out.
Very pleased with the product and performance and at over £200 cheaper for a full set than the Michelins all seasons, very happy with the tires.

Given 94% while driving a Audi A3 (225/40 R18) on mostly motorways for 6,000 spirited miles
Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is a wonderful tire, the best all season I've ever had.
I can finally floor my Audi A3 (215hp) and there's no tire slip in the dry (Vredestein Quatrac Pro had some slip, Goodyear Vector4 Seasons gen 2 had lots of spin). Accelerating in wet conditions also kicks in the traction control for maybe 1/3rd of the pull (Vredestein Quatrac Pro was slightly worse, Goodyear Vector4 Seasons gen 2 spun ridiculously).
What surprised me with this tire is the feedback when cornering, feedback is insanely accurate feels like a summer tire and you gradually feel every degree of change through the steering and the input you give to correct the line, this applies not only for dry but all driving conditions. Vredestein Quatrac Pro had some delay when steering at high speeds and the steering felt much heavier, Goodyear Vector4 Seasons gen 2 understeered dangerously in the wet and felt soft like a winter tire in summer.
As for wear, I wore down 1/32 after 7.000km, considering new was 9/32 so I have 7/32 until 2/32, the tire should last 49.000km overall which is okay. Vredestein Quatrac Pro lasted me 85.000km but the tread was very hard towards the end, Goodyear Vector4 Seasons gen 2 lasted 35.000km because it started losing random chunks of rubber and had cracks like it was melting even though I didn't use them on the track lol.
Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is soft and comfortable, dampens lots of cracks in the asphalt and they're quiet but due to the super aggressive tread design some small vibrations can be felt through the steering when going around 200-250km/h. Vredestein Quatrac Pro were much louder at 100km/h and above and passed some vibrations over cracks in the asphalt, pebbles and other irregularities. Goodyear Vector4 Seasons gen 2 were quiet.
I tested little slushy snow so and lots of mud (unpaved muddy/rocky roads, soft grass picknicking in woods, off-road in quarries) and these are the best roads tires I've ever tested on mud, they don't slip and catch very well all debris between the treads which help traction. You will get lots of water and mud splashing, pebbles and at one point I got twigs launching upwards lmao.

Given 63% while driving a Ford Mondeo 1.6 TDCi (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 9,500 average miles
Hi, I was very surprised seeing my review (Mondeo mk4 1.6 TDCI with 225/50R17) on the top but now after almost a year I have to update my opinion. I wouldn't buy these tires again. Maybe I have only bad luck. This summer when passing through a wet roundabout I felt all 4 wheels slipping which has never happened on any other tires even when I provoked my Mondeo into such situations (Mondeo is really stable). After reaching the destination I looked at the tires. They are looking old. 9 months tires look like 3 years winter Nokians (made in Russia) or 5-8 years standard tires. Goodyear Gen2 (5-6 years?) on my wife's car looks similar as 9 months Bridgestone. This was my first tire complaint in my life. I've never had to make a tire claim before. What did I learn from the complaint letter? I don't ride enough to expose subsequent layers of rubber (about 20.000km a year) and that they sell me a night tire (I heard about winter, summer and all-weather but this first time I heard about nights tire). Night - because they said that I have overexposed the tire to sunlight. But for God's sake, the side of the tire is ideal and sun almost don't reach the tread (I've got Econetic with factory lowered suspension). What's more I've got a underground garage at work... I've posted here a picture from a complaint letter (picture done by Bridgestone) so that it is not said that I chose the worst place of the worst tire's tread. I'm afraid I bought the tires too early and they messed something up in the compound. The tire still is great on dry and OK on wet except for the bends. But I can't drive straight all the time, and I would like to feel confident when cornering on wet.

Given 85% while driving a Lexus (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 1,200 spirited miles
I find these tires impressive for their excellent combination of ride comfort, quiet running, and grip. The Lexus IS300h does not have the most sophisticated suspension, it does well on good tarmac, particularly at speed, but can be rough around town and on broken pavement. These Bridgestones make it feel like the car has upgraded suspension, the ride feels much more plush, the tires absorb a great deal of the vibrations from rolling on the road surface. It is a similar sensation when you put much more comfortable shoes on. They are also surprisingly quiet, not generating the humming background noise that is so typical of many combos of tires and cars.
All the while, the grip is just there, even you send the car into an apex at speed. There is no drama, no complaining, no slipping, just quietly keeping the car on the road.
My comparison is to OEM Yokohamas and Pirelli Cinturato All Seasons, this set feels immediately superior.
I'm very early into these tires, yet to experience truly winterly conditions with them, but truly impressed so far.

The predecessor, the A005 EVO was a very impressive all season tire so it's great that the new Turanza All Season 6 seems to be improving on it! The Tire Reviews test will be out in mid March.
