Wet grip is basically non existant. Front tires will spin under moderate throttle in the wet. AVOID.

Given 47% while driving a Dacia 2019 Logan 1.0 (185/65 R15) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Horrible breaking performance from new and very noisy. Had to occasion to compare it on different cars, as maybe the Dacia Logan is not too much of a benchmark when it comes to breaking, handling and what not, but even on a new Astra J Sedan it's crappy. The tire gets very noisy after 90km/h and depending on the road surface it gets worse. Overall the tire feels like a cheap budget one and the "Continental" name ain't holding no value on this tire unfortunately.

Given 36% while driving a Volvo XC40 (235/50 R19) on a combination of roads for 1,500 average miles
Had these tires as OEM fit for two months and initially they didn't feel very grippy even in the dry. Put this down to them being new. The dry handling has slightly improved but the wet performance is appallingly bad - understeer in damp/wet conditions giving no confidence in the car getting round a corner over 60mph. After 1500 miles there's only 6mm tread left at the back and 5.5mm at the front - pretty poor. Considering replacing them already.

The EcoContact 6 is a terrible tire. I had them as OE with my xc40, from new. I found them fidgety in the wet and I had no confidence in them when it came to aquaplaning. As soon as the tread was halfway worn they started wheel spinning when pulling out at junctions or onto a roundabouts in the wet at anything other than a crawl. The fronts were worn out after 12,000 miles of easy driving.

Really, quite an awful tire. If you push the car at all, the tires will show their true performanfe, or lack theeeof. Very poor grip in the dry, abysmal grip on the wet, and no grip at all on loose surfaces, snow, or ice. Even driving the car gently on EcoContacts will cause you to smell the tires when you pull up on your drive. They’re average for comfort. I haven’t had them long enough to fairly judge how long they will last but considering the burnt tire smell after a quick drive I don’t imagine they would last a season.

Conti Eco Contact 6 came on my new car I recently bought and I am not happy with these tires right from the start - these tires are ECO and have harder rubber giving lower rolling resistance hence better gas mileage at the cost of mediocre comfort levels, dubious performance in both dry and wet and average bump feel meaning they translate nearly every bump in the road without much absorption - I have reduced the air pressure from 34 down to 32 psi which has given some relief and a slight but noticeable softer drive - best way to describe these tires are a compromise on every aspect to improve mileage but at the cost of having average dry and wet performance, average wet handling and braking, noisy and have low comfort in fact so low that it has driven me to research for better tires and has led me to this website - so far I am considering upgrading to Coopers or Goodrich or Michelin Primacy, or Bridgestone Dueler or even the Pirelli Scorpions which I had on my previous car and were much better and more compliant with my style of driving which does not include driving the car on the edge of the tires performance levels on every bend in the road as some maniacs do all the time

Came as OEM on Corolla Hybrid. Awful tires. Skippery, poor wear and not quiet. Brand new just over 6mm tread. This no doubt is to get lower rolling resistence on tests. Avoid this rubbish at all costs.

Got these tires as a replacement on the standard bridgestone turanza T005 on the Mercedes A180. The test results seem a bit low, but in real life they are actually pretty great tires. They really brought up the luxury and comfy ride of the mercedes. The bridgestones actually didn't complement the ride, they were quite hard and very noisy, the Continentals are very quiet and absorbs bumbs very well on the road. Dry and wet grip are slightly above average, nothing special. Good and assuring for day to day commuting, but nothing for sportive driving, these tires are comfort all the way in my opinion. The low rolling resistance also helped to bring down the fuelconsumption quite a bit.

Supplied from new on an F54 Clubman Cooper S. At first impressed with handling, comfort and grip. Quickly became dissatisfied with wet grip. Deeply dissatisfied with wet grip in mucky conditions... Spin up exceptionally quickly and require a fast and deft touch to balance a four wheel slide, which are alarmingly frequent. Will be trying Michelin pilot sport 4 next, in the hope this cures the failings of the Continental Ecocontact 6. I would only go for these if you drive everywhere gently, rarely venture onto mucky roads and have quick reaction times. This review is from an ADI of three decades, Advanced driver and Motorcyclist.

The tires have been fine in all ways, as fitted new on to a Volvo XC60, except for the wear that has been appalling. We do not drive fast, but we have had to change the two rear tires (in a front wheel drive car) after 10,000 miles.

Given 60% while driving a Renault Captur (215/60 R17) on a combination of roads for 932 easy going miles
These tires were original fitment on my Captur II and I have driven aprox 1500 km with them. + They are stable and grippy on dry pavement. Feels secure. + Low rolling resistance - good for the fuel economy. + Quite comfortable, not so nosy. But the big disadvantage is their performance in the wet. They felt very good when new, but now on my 2nd year (I have winter tires so I don’t use the Conti’s in the winter) they have lost grip in the wet. They are not so resistance to aquaplaning, they starts to float and loose their grip far to easily when it’s raining. This is of major concern for me and because of this I give a low rating for wet and wear. They don’t feel secure in the wet. They have lost too much of the wet performance even if the thread still looks good. I drive in town, on countryroads and motorways. My longer journeys are mostly on 80 - 110 km/h roads. Mostly 100 km/h. I’m an easy going driver and I respect speed limits. When it’s time to replace them, I will look at other tires.
