I've had two sets of these tires on my 1.8 Mk3 Mondeo. In the dry they're perfectly ok, but as has been mentioned by others, the wet handling is 'entertaining' / 'lethal' depending on how you look at it. In the wet, the entire car will let go on a regular basis even as low as 10mph on smaller roundabouts - but the good news is that they are extremely progressive and give good feedback.
If you're prepared to listen to what the tire is telling you (they speak up a lot sooner than decent tires of course!) and drive accordingly, they are an ok average tire. If you'd prefer that the car go in the intended direction on a wet corner / roundabout without corrective measures, these probably aren't for you.
I like them for their price, decent longevity and feedback - however, in the wet I'd say they're not for the inexperienced.
