Initially they seemed like very good tires. Despite the 71db rating, they seemed very quiet. Handled good in the dry although slightly softer than the previous Toyo Proxes & Bridgestone Potenza tires. The fact that they are slighty softer does mean that they are comfortable and absorb bumps & potholes very well. I had no issues when driving in the rain either. never really got the chance to test aquaplaning and i can't comment on wear either because i ditched these tires after not even 2000km's... Because these tires are absolutley lethal on the highway. My car did not want to drive in a straight line anymore, it constantly felt like there was a 120km/h side wind pushing the car from left to right! this gives a 'floaty', tramlining, and very insecure feeling when driving at speeds above 90km/h, and gets worse and worse the faster you drive. Tried many different tire pressures, but nothing helped. When switching to the winter tires, this floaty feeling immediately went away, so the issue is not with the car. I am very dissapointed with these Hankook tires and have the same 'floaty' experiences with the Hankook Kinergy Eco 2 on my other car. i expected much better from a manufacturer of this brand and will now be driving through the summer on the Nexen winter tires, which are actually safe on the highway, and when the budget allows i'll hopefully switch to Nexen N'Fera SU1 or Goodyear Effecient grip perfomance 2. So to sum up, it's a good tire for drivers who never leave the normal city & country roads. Not recommended for highway drivers as you'll be scared to drive it at normal speeds.
(note: 2 tires where new (DOT 4021), and 2 others where already on the rear axle and had about 5,5mm left (DOT 3818), both sets had the same tramlining effect when moved to the front axle)
