This is my second review of these Kumho Solus Tires and the longer we drive on these tires the worse it gets, just yesterday, we rounded a curve and the front end again locked up putting the front end in a short slide. We're driving at regular speeds and now the tires aren't holding up on dry pavement. I've posted pics online and sent word to Kumho about these tires, they are over flexing. meaning the sidewalls will not withstand the vans weight even though these tires are listed as being suited for the van at 98 Load rated. The sidewalls on these tires need to be strengthened more. I've since reported this issue to several tire manufactures and asked for suggestions on tires with stiffer sidewalls with the same or higher load rating. 8 times by 8 different manufactures told me I need to try run flats. But We're taking another shot at the Nokian brand of tires as the WR G4's have been known to withstand sidewall flex and superior handing in wet weather. Cross our fingers and hope the Nokian tires will work on the van. if not, we'll have to step up and buy some run flats. Lastly, these Kumho Solus tires are handling just like the Nitto Motivo tires we had on the van 6 months ago as those slid all over the road also while mounted on the Transit Connect. Avoid these types of tires on a Transit Connect, The longer you drive on them the worse it will get, very unsafe tires for sure.
