After reading the reviews here, I ended up replacing my Eco-focused Pirelli P7s with these Vortis. However, right after I left the shop, I felt the car more heavy, requiring more accelerator pedal in order to go. These tires do have a terrible rolling resistance. Keep in mind these weigh 11.5Kg vs. 9Kg of the Pirelli P7s. It's a huge difference, speccially in 18" wheels.
I ended up not liking the tires because of this. I lost 10kmh of max speed, and I lost 5% of acceleration.
However, the grip is great but not phenomenal, and overall feedback is very good, I do feel the stiffer sidewall is very communicative.
Road noise is OK, and they are similarly comfortable as the Pirellis, so nothing special.
Just keep in mind this tire is meant to go with very powerful cars, +300hp, or else, they will eat away your acceleration, top speed, and of course fue economy. In my Giulietta with only 140hp, there was a very noticeable hit on performance.
Make sure you read the owners car, when reading these testenominals, that will put you in perspective. People with 400hp subarus will sure tell a different story than someone with a 140hp Diesel car.
There are other great alternatives and I regret no having chose one of them, lighter tires, such as the Dunlop Sportmaxx RT, or the GoodYear Assymetric 2, or even the new Hankook V12 evo 2.
