Given 29% while driving a Nissan Sentra (205/55 R16 V) on mostly town for 25 average miles
Worthless in the rain, vague on dry pavement, surprisingly decent on snow but horrid on ice...the dealer put these on fresh before I bought a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S. They have lasted longer than I expected but not as long as I had hoped. On the other hand I will be glad to have a good set of tires on my car soon. I don't think I would pay more than $25 American, for each tire new and only if I could not afford safer tires.

Given 39% while driving a Mazda 5 (225/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
The garage had put these on the car when I'd picked it up. The road feedback was awful, the worst I'd experienced and the car didn't feel positive on the road. The amount of roll was far too much and there didn't appear to be any support in the tire wall at all. I changed these as sson as I could and bought Barums, which totally changed the feel of the car. More positive feedback, hardly any roll when cornering. Would I buy these, definately not, awful the tires and have to be the worst I've ever experienced.

Given 24% while driving a Peugeot 308 (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
Horrid! I had 4 Wanli 1088s put on my car and they vibrated quite a bit. A low level buzz, which as someone else said was like a failed wheel bearing. I had looked at the revires on here and ordered 1063, but 1088s we put on by mistake. I went back the next day and had them changed to the correct 1063s. The 1063s are MUCH better and so far I'm very happy with them.

Given 10% while driving a Vauxhall Vectra SRI 1.9 (150) (225/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Been recommended these by my local tire fitter onto my taxi. Tbh I thought id got a wheel bearing gone the road noise was that bad a constant brrrrrrrrrr. Anyways im a diesel vectra owner Ive used budget before these where okayish but vaugue in the dry. Tires look like they would last forever they must be made of pure steel. I swear an angle grinder would make no dent in these.

Anyway it rained the other night and thats where the fun began. These have **** all grip in the wet nothing zip nada. I have a test vehicle for a skid pan. Who makes this ***t on a tire. Dangerous terrible, death on a car. Today they have come off I could not trust these with passengers. Inside the tire loads of rubber marbles from the inside rubber. The tread is virtually unworn after 5k of miles in 6 weeks.

Ill describe the feeling in the wet. poor some oil on sheet ice and add water. The try breaking on it.

If you value yourself and your family do not fit this sh** on a car. These tires will let you down big style.

Given 50% while driving a BMW E60 535d (225/50 R17) on mostly motorways for 6,000 easy going miles
Put these on 535d for mostly mororway driving as an experiment. Quite frightening in the wet, the car feels as if it could slide off the road at any speed at any time; I'd hardly ever seen the traction control light come on prior to fitting these now it's a regular occurrence even when it is just damp! Consigned to the bucket.

Given 42% while driving a Ford Focus MK1 (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
For many I have used various budget tires and found them generally to give better wet grip then the michelins I've had in the past, but less tread life. So having experiencied two low speed shunts in two different cars due to lack of grip, in damp conditions when breaking in a straight line, where both cars had michelins. Also having found that often that some budget tires are made by subsiduaries of well known brands such as in the case of LASSA(Brigestone) I've moved away from buying by brand choosing instead to look at tread patterns and specs. of the tire. For the last ten years I've been using LASSA IMPETUS tires on my Focus 2iesp finding them to be better, in many ways better than the original equipment Goodyears. However recently, this year for some reason when I replacements of the same make I've been unable to get them from any supplier. So I was persuaded to buy WANLI, ready for a long trip to the south of France. Having now driven about 3000 miles on these tires I want them off my car. They have changed my very precise steering, smooth running, quiet, effortless, car into a noisy vibrating buzz box, with less feel(feedback),on all road surfaces. I also have a feeling that although I put the grip as quit good, it is the cars traction control and abs compensating.

Given 39% while driving a Ford Mondeo (205/50 R16 W) on mostly motorways for 5,000 average miles
yes cheap tires, not the best, but not the worst either. must admit these tires did scare me a little at first as the road feed back is poor, but i had top brands on my car before these that have fantastic feed back.but anyway after throwing the car around a little, these cheap tires do hold the tarmac but the road feedback is crap. but if you live with this buy them. as they are £70 a tire cheaper than the top brands

Given 80% while driving a Ford Mondeo (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
Had 4 of these fitted to my 2.2 mondeo ghia x 8,000 miles ago and they've been excellent in all conditions and road speeds , be it trudging through lakeland storms, or high speed motorway cruising.
Nearly lost it on a local roundabout in greasy conditions 3 months back, then found out a mate did lose it at the same spot shortly after in his volvo V70 , shod with near new Pirelli P7's.
Proves to me you'll find a ditch with any tires if you try hard enough !

Volkswagen Passat CC (235/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
Have just fitted 2 new S1088 tires for the front of my Passat CC out of pure necessity. I was a long way from home and they were all that was on offer from the dealer at the time. Had read a lot about budget tires and was quite worried that I had just purchased 'get me home' tires . The weather conditions on my way home were far from agreeable with very heavy rain and included many twisty country roads.
The car however handled amazingly well from the start with very little loss of grip and road noise was less than the Accelera tires fitted previously. I have read poor reports on this tire before but it may be that it's extra weight rating is better suited to the larger vehicle, (more weight more grip).
Anyhow I have ordered two more for the back.

Given 30% while driving a Vauxhall Corsa (185/55 R15) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
The day after fitting on rear lost control on wet low speed corner. ( accused of going too fast !) Ultimately after several near misses car was put through hedge by my partner on another wet corner. After 8,000 miles the tire was as new due to the fact it gave zero grip i presume.( Yes im an idiot for not replacing earlier) How can these tires be sold to be used on public roads. ( my tire was a S1200 but put opinion on here anyway to warn other people of this black circle of death )

Given 30% while driving a Citroën Xsara (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 3,000 easy going miles
Total RUBBISH in the wet, had them on the fronts and going round a roundabout you could feel the steering loosing it, and thats at about 25mph damp or wet roads alike, would not like to take a fast wet sharp bend, you would end up in a ditch, WORST TYRES IN 40 YEARS MOTORING DO NOT BUY THEM
