I've used the dunlop mutants on my ducati multistrada v2s and i'm not too happy about them. My only reference is the OEM pirelli scorpion trail 2s and the mutants are worse on dry, they slip more than the scorpions; not much, they just slip enough to make me loose confidence.
On wet i'd say they are equal, maybe a bit better than the pirelli's, but i ride very carefully on the wet anyway.
Off road is their strong area. you can feel them grip much better than the oem pirelli's, but since i very rarely go off road, i'll stick to the pirelli's for my next tire change.
Finally, they are not as durable; they squared off after only 8000km. now i'm at 10000km on them and looking to take them off. The pirelli's started squaring at 10000 and i changed them at 13000. The tread is still adequate though, it's the squaring that makes me wanna take them off, as they've become more "edgy" on lean.
