Jeep cherokee sport Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus given 80% (225-65-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
I am moving onto a second set after my suspension died in the rear cupping the tire. The dealer tried to get me into some other tires but I elected to get these again. I live in Alberta Canada and travel often to the mountains and to Saskatchewan. Many of the roads are either paved, gravel or mud... these tires have performed well for me. Ice and snow are famous over the winter, the triple peak rating means they are acceptable to go through most mountain passes in the winter where winter tires are required. I have yet to actually experience of the tires from new, I bought my vehicle used... I am sure I would re-evaluate higher once I have had a chance to try them out operating at 100%..

Driving on mostly country roads for 12000 spirited miles
The tires have excellent wet weather grip on hot mix up and down hills. on road / gravel road performance is good for SUV / 4x4 vehicle. With the grip available the wear isn't that good. If you are only doing 10 -15k km's per year or two, worth the money.

Writing about the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico given 37% (255-40-20-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 1000 spirited miles
poor in wet and poor in comfort, noisy, cant hear people talking, too hard on the road, thus not sticky enough, feels slippery....

Writing about the Pirelli Scorpion STR given 36% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 12000 easy going miles
The wore really quickly despite checking pressures weekly religiously. Very disappointed with grip under heavy breaking in wet conditions. Good grip in ice and snow at low speed.
