Mazda 3 Skyactiv 2018 Tire Review Highlights
The tires perform really well, with excellent wet grip. They feel very safe, and they're also very good in the dry, though braking distance seems a bit long. They're also quite comfortable. The only problem is that above 170 km/h I experience a slight vibration in the steering, which I didn't have with the stock Bridgestone Turanza.

These tires are great.
The car feels confident on the curbs, yet comfortable and very quiet, even at 160kmph.
Tried them only on dry and wet and they feel much better compared to Hankook RS3 and Hankook Ventus Prime 4.
For braking I don’t feel any difference compared to the summer Hankooks i have, so that’s a good sign.
Can’t wait to test them in the proper winter conditions and i will come back with an update.

Non existent wet grip, especially at roundabouts! Have to enter round abouts at speeds of 20 kmph or less, else sure to skid and lose control. Has happened a few times to me. I'm now extremely careful when it rains and prefer taking the other car out if it's been raining.

Done 2000km on it and best tire I have.

Probably best value tires i have ever had. They are not the most sporty or responsive tire, you definitely feel "lack of road feel" and lightness through the rim but since it is a winter tire and i drive mostly in town with moderate speeds in winter months, i couldn't care less. Amazing grip and traction on snow, very good and in the dry and wet, it doesn't fall apart in the wet like some other budget winter tires. I had nearly done 15000km's with these and wear is pretty decent as well. They don't so far off from a premium winter tire for half the price. Definitely buy again.

Been driving these about 2000km's in a Mazda 3 1.5 120hp, drove in heavy rain, high speeds and both rough and smooth roads and some spirited action. In short, they feel like a true premium tire, especially on B type of roads with some rough bits, they make the car feel very controlled and connected, offers excellent bump absorbation and feels never crashy. In terms of sidewall rigidness, they are absolutely spot-on in terms of comfort and sportiness balance and they are always ready from the get go, no need for heat to build up to generate grip like other sports tires. These are the best aspects of S3 Evo's.
If you push them hard in dry mid-corner or try to make some quick direction changes, you can feel bit vagueness or latency from steering (my previous PS3's were sharper and a bit more connected) but nowhere near bad or loose as a "efficient-energy" oriented type tires. But the worse thing is, they shift the cornering balance of the car from neutral to slightly understeery. Rear end was bit more playful with my PS3's, offering some lift-off action with pointy front end, these one's a bit more safety oriented thus less fun above the limit. In wet S3 Evo's are simply incredible, stick the tarmac like glue, both in brakes and lateral grip. I am amazed how grippy they are in the wet (at least when they are new).
My problem with these are excessive road noise in some surfaces. Sometimes they are exceptionally quiet, but in some surfaces they drone like hell. I think this sound fluctuation disrupts comfort more than a steady sound, since the Mazda 3 is a poorly soundproofed car, this problem may well be escalated more. It may not be problem in a premium german car.
In summary, S3 Evo's are not the most dynamic tire in nature, not a true Potenza sport like tire, but they feel like quality rubber, with great daily ride capabilites and some added sporty flavours. They will fit great in low to mid powered cars for mildly demanding drivers.
Sorry for my english by the way.
Ps: mines are 45"ZR"18 ones, i presume 45R18 ones offers softer tirewall therefore are more comfort oriented.

Reading the reviews for this tire, I expected a solid and balanced tire: I got a bad tire, bad on dry (slips at a faster start), bad on rain (does not instill even a minimum of confidence), poor sense of steering, cloud feeling, my winter tire uniroyal gives a better feeling): A rarity for a tire that is bad in all three of these segments.Absolutely too expensive a tire to get. The ratings on this site are not clear to me.

Fitted GitiSport S2 on my Mazda 3 2018 model (BM) with 18 inch rim of size 225/45R18. Previously was using 205/60R16 and was expecting comfort to decrease however after fitted on GitiSport S2, the comfort did not really decrease, it was almost the same comfort as my 16 inch size. Most tire dry grip has no issue, tested on raining days with GitiSport S2 and turned aggressively and no slippage on road or on pavement surface.
Tried going on highway with lots of water puddle, cutting through water easily at speed of 70km/hr to 80km/hr, good aquaplanning. Price for GitiSport S2 are 50% cheaper than all premium brands and model. Guess i will stick to GitiSport S2 after this set wears off, most value for price with superior performance.

These come as brand new factory tires with my car back in 2018. In its early life, both dry/wet grip and cornering were pretty good but when the mileage neared 13000-15000 miles the grips were lost significantly. For some reasons (that I still have no idea to date) the price of this is whole lot higher than PS4, Potenza RE003 and GY Eagle F1; this is the main reason that I won't buy this again. I've already made an order for Continental MC6, will get these installed next month.

All around good winter tire for reasonable price. Yet I have not enough experience with other winter tires to give a good advice.
