Mercedes Benz C250 CDI Blutec Tire Review Highlights

Driving on a combination of roads for 13000 spirited miles
Two sets later, first one on 225/45r17 which i drove for about 6-7000 kilometers before selling those wheels, and now on my 18 inch combo of 225/40r18 and 255/35r18 which I did around 22-23.000km to this point... Man I love this tire... Such combination of comfort, sportiness and performance is honestly hard to match... At this mileage front tires are at only 50% of legal depth tread, and rear ones surely have over 65% left to them, and I drive rather hard. I find this apsolutely mind-blowing tread life for UHP tires... Will buy again, and again, and again, until they come with PS6

I had hoped they would have lasted longer

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
After wra3 and wra4 (both excellent on dry and wet, excellent on snow and ice, the wra3 better at very low, almost freezing temperatures, the wra4 better on snow), I tried the snowproof P. I haven't yet tried the new directional design on snow , but on dry surfaces they essentially follow the excellent handling performance of the two previous models with asymmetrical design. With the rudder, in the absence of longitudinal channels, the footprint on the ground seems to be wider, and the cornering grip perhaps slightly greater. The sidewall is stiffer than previous models, and this gives better handling, a lower steering angle and lateral lie, further improving driving dynamics. Anyone who says that Nokians don't handle the road well on wet, dry and snow either doesn't know how to drive in different road conditions, or their car has problems. I've read about deformations on this model, well it depends on whether during season changes you keep the tires resting in the right place, in the right way, and this applies to every brand and model.

Driving on mostly motorways for 4000 spirited miles
Comfortable tires with very good grip in dry and wet. The tires are starting to undesteer more and more at 6000 km. And the wear is high, 2mm already gone. Have to change them at 15000 km.

Had original Yoka's on and felt dangerous on the motorway.... changed to the Uniroyal and hey presto all good. However I do have a very small vibration that I cant pin down, seems to get a bit better if I reballance every 12 months.

I'm surprised at the positive reviews.i found these tires very disappointing in all areas.in particular wet grip very poor.constant wheel spins pulling off.

A very grippy tire both in dry and wet. The steering feel is great with nice oversteer in dry. Low roll resistance too. Some weaknesses in aquaplaning. Very noisy tire when the road surface is not totally smooth.

Driving on a combination of roads for 12509 average miles
I am impressed! These tires have got me through two winters and look like they are capable of another 2-3. Usually go on around October when temperatures are below 7 degree C. Off by May the following year. Very assuring in wet conditions. Especially when snow melts and becomes sludge. Handle mud quite well too. Ice grip is good. I find when the tires have been driven a while then they grip even more. Same brand on the rear axle and these inspire confidence. You cannot get too excited with them as the traction light says hello. It’s nice to see the look on faces when they think a rear wheel drive car will struggle or stay on the drive. Run flat form doesn’t feel too jarring or noisy. Very good tires and that’s coming from a tire snob. Once scrubbed in these were pleasant and haven’t let me down.
