215/60 16 Tire Review Highlights

Nokian Snowproof 2 rated 94% while driving a Ford Mk5 Mondeo 2.0
Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 average miles
Tires on snow / ice behave very well, in the dry you can feel that the tire flexes on fast turns but for normal driving it is enough
driving comfort good
wear after a whole winter ( about 3000 miles) is small
definitely recommend

Debica Frigo HP2 rated 68% while driving a Peugeot 508 rxh estate
Driving on mostly country roads for 18000 easy going miles
They were mounted on the car when I bought it (about 2000 km on them according to the owner). I used them from November to April. For the first 3 seasons they worked well especially in deeper or fresh snow and slush (I live in a mountain village where plows arrive less often). On ice at sub-zero temperatures or slippery snow they are also okay for a non-studded tire. On wet roads they behave a bit worse than the average summer tire, especially when the temperature exceeds +5 degrees Celsius. Stronger braking on dry asphalt or high temperatures causes an unexpected, premature loss of traction, and on sharp bends I have the impression that the car is "floating". The tire is soft and focused on comfort so it does not give any sporty experience, the steering is just only correct - not very precise. In the 5th season the winter properties deteriorated even though the tread did not wear out much (I have a comparison because my dad put new ones on in the fall and he is delighted - compared to mine, his car braked, accelerated and turned much better in winter). If the rubber compound had not lost its winter properties, I could have driven 35-40 thousand km on them.

Nexen N Blue 4 Season rated 94% while driving a Volkswagen Passat Estate 2.0 TDI (170)
Driving on mostly motorways for 40000 easy going miles
'64 VW Passat Estate 110000miles. Front done 40000miles in 4yrs end of life, Rears done 40000miles in 4yrs mid life have still got over 5mm, previous Nexen rears had done 72000m at end of life. Excellent value compared with Mich or Cont tires. No 'bad comment on budget tire' issues. Bought from MyTires @ £75 each. Will defo use again

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 easy going miles
I have this tires for 1 month(1500 km) were i was on the icy, snowy and wet(and very wet) roads. On snow, tires are really good and also on dry surfaces. On wet surfaces, are good but not like Michelin alpin a5. Very good price for this performances. I really recomanded

Kumho Solus TA51a rated 67% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on mostly town for 60000 average miles
These are the worse tires I have ever owned. The road noise is so loud that I have to turn my radio up. The vibration from the tires is unacceptable. DON'T buy these tires!

Bridgestone Ecopia EP300 rated 76% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 spirited miles
It is a very decent tire with durable tread. I've driven at high speeds up to 190kph for extended periods of time and it performed really well, however in the rain on motorway with old tarmac there aren't much grip. It is extremely durable, did a 13000km trip and treadwear was not noticeable, now at 40000km there are still a good amount of tread left, at about 40%. Very comfortable, not noisy at all compared to more budget brand tires on my other car.

Cooper Discoverer All Season rated 90% while driving a Peugeot 3008
Driving on a combination of roads for 50000 spirited miles
I bought this tire from Camskill at very low promotional price. They did over 50 k miles and I am really impressed from the accuracy of steering and handling. These tires like wet roads and feels like they grip more. I tried premium tires and these were better and quieter and I wish I can find them again on offer.

Michelin Primacy 4 rated 57% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on a combination of roads for 35000 average miles
The tire has problems with turns, it tend to skew while taking a turn speed above 80km/h. It wear very quickly, sides and treads. It tend to collect every sharp object in the streets due to its soft nature. Has so many problems with patching and tend to vent regardless of the place or the size of the patch!!

Maxxis Premitra HP5 rated 57% while driving a Mitsubishi 380
Driving on mostly country roads for 23000 easy going miles
Excellent tires but the wear rate is so high only 37km for a set. I am not a fast driver, my last set did 60km. Would not buy again due to the wear.

Bridgestone Ecopia EP300 rated 84% while driving a Honda Civic 1.8
Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 easy going miles
These are good tires. Love them over the Dunlop LM705's that I had earlier on my Corolla. These drive well in both dry and wet and excellent grip on bendy roads. Comfort is good too for the first 5,000 miles. Definitely recommended.

Pirelli Cinturato Rosso rated 97% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 spirited miles
I recently upgraded from the Continental UC6 to the Pirelli Cinturato Rosso tires, and the difference has been nothing short of night and day. The UC6 had me slipping constantly in the rain, but with the Rosso, I haven’t missed a single beat, even in the wettest conditions. These tires are absolutely lovely!

It's been a while since I've experienced such a well-rounded tire, especially after using the Michelin PS3, PS4, and Continental SportContact 5 in the past. I never expected a touring tire to perform this well; I always thought performance tires meant sacrificing comfort, but the Cinturato Rosso has completely changed my mind.

The softness of these tires is immediately noticeable, offering a very smooth ride over uneven surfaces. The grip in dry conditions is simply amazing, and even in wet conditions, they perform impressively. Aquaplaning resistance is above average, though not the absolute best, but it’s certainly good enough to instill confidence in rainy weather.

There was only one instance where I felt the car was losing its tail, but that was due to my tire profile being 60. A thick profile combined with a soft tire doesn’t help during hard cornering, so a lower profile spec wouldn’t have this problem.

One thing I really appreciate is how quiet they are. Noise levels are low enough that they don't bother me at all, which is a big plus for daily driving. And when it comes to cornering, these tires excel. There's no wallowiness; instead, they feel planted with plenty of grip and feedback, giving me the confidence to push through corners with ease.

Wear is amazing too, way beyond my expectations. Normally tires can only last around 20k miles because of the way I drive but for these Pirelli, it can certainly withstand the torture and I'm about 60% into the life of these. More to go!

I'm so satisfied with these tires that I'm even planning to purchase a set for my XC90. The Pirelli Cinturato Rosso tires have exceeded my expectations in every way, combining comfort and performance in a way I didn’t think was possible. Highly recommended!
