Given 71% while driving a Ford Mondeo Titanium 2.0 TCDI (225/45 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 1,700 spirited miles
One of the best tires i've put on the car. I had a set of these on my Mondeo TDCi which I do 23k a year in. These tires felt great when new, and served me well in Winter too. Wet grip is great,, but grip in the snow was much less than I expected and I found some drifting on these tires.

Wear wise, I found that they didn't wear as well I as had hoped. They lasted about 9 months, so about 17k miles, before they were down to the wear indicators. For the cost at the time, I found them to be a little pricey overall. So much so, I have decided to give another brand a whirl on this set.

Given 70% while driving a Alfa Romeo Brera (235/45 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Tires are bought for my Alfa Brera 2.0 JTDm.
Positives: Very grippy on both dry and wet.I can't complain on the road feedback, but the steering feel is lost a bit comparing to Pirellis, not that sharp as i would like.Great confidence on wet, the car feels solid.

Negatives: From new they generate a noise which i can't explain. Maybe this set was problematic. They were manufactured on May 2018 and i put them on in June 2018 so very fresh. However, it seems that especially on bad tarmac, the noise they produce puts me off, it sounds like a wheel bearing is on its way (which is not).

Will buy again? Maybe, but the tire noise and not helpful customer service are very important factors for me and i got no satisfaction. Other than this, i believe the tire adds more confidence on any weather conditions or drive style

Given 72% while driving a Vauxhall Astra (225/40 R18) on mostly motorways for 1,000 average miles
These tires are certainly very sporty and have a neat rim protector to stop you scraping your alloys on kerbs.. They run on rails and are very grippy. However, I have an Astra not an Aston Martin and I found they gave me a very hard ride and they were firm over all lumps and bumps in the road. Maybe they are for you if you like that sporty feel but not for me I'm afraid. Changed them quite quickly for Yokohama es32 which have much softer sidewalls and a more pliant ride.

Given 91% while driving a Audi A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI (245/45 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 23,000 spirited miles
These have lasted 6 years of mixed motoring throughout typically mixed Cornish weather, and they would be continuing if it weren’t for the fact that sunshine does cause outer wall deterioration to any tire . . It sits out on my driveway.
So, I will be getting another set, as the only problem I did have within the first week of purchase an inner wall bulged . . Avon replaced it.
I feel reassuringly safe with these on my big heavy Allroad, particularly when hitting standing water on our country roads.
Despite its official noise rating, I find cabin intrusion minimal, mainly due to poor roads maintenance, and of the low frequency type, not high irritating whine.
I intend following my local garage advice of applying tire protection from month 1.
My journeys vary from pebble beach, fields, country lanes and major highways . . Good for a Quattro, very pleased with this product!

Given 94% while driving a Mazda MX5 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 9,500 spirited miles
second report, i bought my mazda mx5 with the zz5 already fitted to the front, see previous report,
i have now covered 9500 spirited miles...they have virtually no more wear than when i got the car,
they have never let go...i have tried!!
i am about to fit some zz5's to the rear as the potenza tires that were
already fitted & new when i got the car are almost on the wear bars and can be made to let go quiet easily.

Given 93% while driving a Mercedes Benz E280 Sport (265/35 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
this is the third set of these that I have bought. The last 2 were on a Subaru outback 2.5 and provided great grip, wet or dry, were reasonably quiet and comfortable and wore very well. last set had covered 15000 when I sold the car and shoed hardly any wear. this time bought to replace budget rubbish that were downright dangerous in the wet/damp and have instantly transformed the car. Cannot recommend highly enough.
