I find this tire suits my car and driving style. They feel nice and progressive into corners with good exit characteristics. Braking is as good as the RE050's I have had on other cars. They are quiet on the tarmac and I reckon are wearing well to date.

I replaced my rear RE001 after it has done 60,000 km with 4 rotations.
RE002 is great on the road. It's road holding is as good as RE001 or even better. I am looking forward to replace the front RE001 with RE002. RE001 is from Japan and RE002 is from Indonasia.

Given 87% while driving a Alfa Romeo 147 (205/55 R16 W) on mostly country roads for 500 spirited miles
Very progressive tire when warmed up at the limit with tons of grip. Fuel consumption and comfort as expected for a pure sport tire for road use, noise lower than expected. Would highly recommend for a 16" sports tire with no major disadvantages in fast driving, unlike most of its competitors that either wear/overheat/let go abruptly/have poor turn in. The only question mark for me is how easily they will warm up in colder weather, for moderately powered cars anyway.

I bought these 5 five mounths ago replacing re050a,I regret... . Re050a are better!. The shoulder of re002 is very soft and so it very confortable tire, in wet condition this tire is excellent, but in dry the response of steering is inaccurate and soft. So I bought yet re050a...really sport tire!

I was initially weary of internet reviews and claims about these tires - Almost concluded that they surly are over rated condiering the price of them. However due to unavailability of my first choice I proceeded to fit RE002s all round to a 2002 Alfa Romeo 156 V6. I came from Goodyear Eagle GSD3s and I would have to compare the gri and cornering as similar. Comfor is good even steeping up from 16 to 17". Road noise is minimal too.
