hat can I say ? Excellent in the dry, excellent in the wet. I drive more than 600 miles per week and have always felt safe and secure at high speed with these tires. I would have liked them to last a little bit longer as after 30,000 miles they are down to 1mm and need replacing. My work colleague reckons his Contis are still going after 56,000 miles :(

I use to have Falken ZE912s' on my Jaguar S-Type Sport but these last longer and the grip feels better.

In the recent winter conditions the Hankooks still felt stable although I did feel a "twitch" from the rears a couple of times. However, they still felt safe.

Overall: Highly Recommended

Given 93% while driving a Alfa Romeo brera (235/45 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 20 average miles
Fitted to front to replace worn Pirelli Zero Neros on a diesel Brera. It's pretty essential for this type of tire to be reinforced on UK roads and these came through the year without damage. Excellent progressive adhesion in the wet and dry, all the way to replacement at 20K mostly motorway miles. Unlike the Pirellis, no punctures and very even tread wear, despite being inflated to 2.7 bar (40psi). The only drawback is that when the tread wore to about 3mm they became much noisier with a distinct drop-off in steering precision. Traction in snow wasn't great, but no worse than most other summer tires.

tires very balanced in both dry and wet. Excellent grip in dry and very good in wet. Noise Level and scroll down a very even wear. I went from a Continental PremiumContact2 and I think this tire superior in all parameters (anything from night to day but higher). In my case doing 80% of journeys lasted about mountain 40000Km. I recommend anyone interested in tires that measure to try this model.

Given 96% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 20,000 spirited miles
Got a set of these a year ago and have managed 20k on them with a rotation after 6 months. Dry grip is amazing & wet grip is very good. The tread on this tire looks good and is excellent for displacing water at high speeds. I haven't tried any of the premium brands that cost twice as much as a Hankook but for a mid range performance tire, you can't go wrong. The tires can easily handle 200+BHP & 20k miles is impressive for any performance tire. Also handles snow surprisingly well. Approaching the legal limit on tread now but still performing well, time to get another set of 4!

Given 77% while driving a BMW E36 328i saloon (225/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
I have recently put these on my BMW E36 after using Toyo Proxes T1Rs for 3 years...
The Hankooks are extremely good value for money. Grip is very good in the dry (about on a par with the Toyos) and good/very good in the wet (again a little better the Toyos and much better than Avon ZZ3s). The sidewalls are a little soft(er) and this means the feel and feedback is little "slow" and woolly. However, the upside is a quiet and comfortable ride and they are pretty progressive. Too early to tell on the wear rate, though.

Given 86% while driving a Audi A5 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 20 average miles
We run these tires on 2 cars, an Audi A5 2 ltr TFSI (211) and a Seat Leon Cupra K1. I am just changing a rear near side tire on the Audi after about 20,000 miles. We have no complaints about these tires. I have driven them to Switzerland, they stop well in wet and dry and last longer than the continental tires i had on my A6 (6k front.) We will keep on using these tires on both cars.

Given 74% while driving a MG ZS (205/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 7,000 spirited miles
This was my 1st set of Hankooks that I got recommended to by a friend who is a tire fitter (No he didn't get commission!)
The tires in my opinion are as good but not that as good as Toyo Proxies which I had previous, but for the money I spent on the set I would get again, in fact I have just got another 2 tires due to getting the car lowered which increased my tire wear due to improper chassis setup.

Given 87% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
I bought these tires to replace the Bridgestone Potenzas on the back and a budget brand I have not heard of on the front of my Civic Type R FN2.

Bearing in mind that my tire tread when changing was 3mm, the difference is staggering. Not only in the dry can I feel the grip and feedback much more effectively but I no longer end up sliding round bends at only 30mph in the wet. In addition the tires are quiter and they do feel softer, which while might not be a plus for some drivers, is definately for me as I use the car to commute in and the added comfort is definately welcome. They also look really good.

I'd say that these are a definate upgrade on the Bridgestone Potenzas. Both more comfortable and effective than my previous tires.

On 2nd set of theses under-rated tires. Brilliant in the dry and very confidence inspiring in the wet due to its progressive nature. Reasonably quiet and comfortable for a high performance tire. Sidewall is a bit on the soft side but you could always fix that by bumping the air pressure up a few notches. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a fun and safe set of shoes on a budget!

Given 91% while driving a BMW 530D (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Really happy with the performance and wear and comfort for half the price of the top brands or BMW run-flats. Give me more confidence when cornering in dry and wet. Even performed admirably through the last 2010 icy winter - previous Continental has zero grip. Much improved noise and comfort compared with the Bridgestones Potenzas or Goodyear NCT5 run flats even for the 98 XL I'm using but can't compare with non run flats. Wear is surprisingly good - best I've had so I gave 10/10. After 15k miles, I still have 4mm left (compared with Continental Premium Contact 2 on a previous car was gone after the same 15k miles). Maybe I notice a touch of vibration for the first few miles after a long stop but it's not a big deal for me and would definitely buy again for the excellent value/performance. Personally I like the unique thread pattern - I think it stands out from the rest in a good way.

Given 94% while driving a Mazda 6 (215/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 25,000 average miles
I love these tires. I live in Madrid, Spain. Summer temperatures are over 100F (road can get easily 140F) and winter temperatures are below 32 F. On top I love hiking on the mountains (plenty of them here in Spain) so I also drive a lot on mountain roads. It is not easy to find a tire that performs well in all these extreme conditions but the Hankook Ventus V12 does it with one exception, snow. The tire behaves excellent in dry (hot and cold) and wet roads in my 160 HP Mazda6. Wear is very good in my car at least. After 25000 miles they are ready for replacement but they have performed very well till the end. The only weak point comes with snow. You can manage to drive on one or two inches of snow in flat roads (still some advance driving skills are needed)but if the road goes up or down you will be in trouble. So highly recommendable tire unless you plan or need to drive your car on snowy conditions.
