Metzeler Racetec Interact K3

BrilIant tire on a dry summer's day, poor on a cold damp winter morning also easy to step out on rough damp tarmac under acceleration when exiting corners, very pressure sensitive. Keep for the warmer months and they are hard to beat.

Have bought a Hornet CB600FA with ABS having these Metzeler Racetecs which were close to their end. Really unpleasantly surprised by their lack of feedback and by how quick would they lose grip even in mild reactions. Take into account that the Hornet is a very docile bike and even so, I could feel how they were easily snapping into slides, especially in the chillier autumn mornings. Had these replaced immediately. Dunno about their early or mid-life behaviour, but at their end of life they become really unpredictable.

With honda cb1000r comfort only after warmup and dry weather. Not for long trip

Absolute confidence in this tire although I thought the compound was K2 not K3. As the rating I dictates found it sweet progression with very positive traction even through the sparse light gravel off the swept lane area. Wore fast comparatively but love the tradeoff for handling traction & predictive behaviour. Bit of care in the wet .
