after the new sava tires it came with which wore out in 13000 miles, these are a far better tire. Noise level dramaticaly reduced, tracking not out as i assumed. In the recent snow, grip was very good bearing in mind they are still new. Overall a very good tire, and only slightly more costly than the sava.

Excellent all rounder,brilliant grip in snow,it seems a lot of people blame the tires for their driving incompetence.As a professional driver I find the P6000 among the best tires I have ever used.

Four P6000 at £250 fitted replaced half worn Bridgestone OE at 18000 mls. After 10 miles I asked for my old Bridgestones back -- the p6000 is noisy, steering feels vague, wheelspin in second gear uphill. Not helped by two V rated front off and nearside rear, two H rated near front and off rear ...
Replaced by four Uniroyal Rainmaster, so far so good.

I inherited the car with 30k on the clock, and the Pirellis still existed on the back.They had been replaced with 2/3 of the tread still existing on the front because they were useless at 20K. Been a student i couldnt quite afford to replace the rears untill 10k later. They were loud, uncomfortable, ungrippy, expensive, old, cracked and plain dangerous in my opinion. After 8 years and 40k they are gone, and they still had half their tread.The Uniroyal Raineperts to replace them are however exceptional and cheaper.

I've only done 5000kms, and i want them off now, All i need to do to get understeer is sharply turn the steering wheel, the car goes straight. I drive a Alfa 156 2.0L, the tires aren't bad driving normal, but drive that little bit faster then you realise you were driving near the limit of the tires, thats scary. Did i mention that i'm still driving with 1mm tred on my old Bridgestone Adrenalin's at the back, and i'm thinking of rotating the tires front to back, feels like i'd have more grip. These tires are dangerous, for the same money you have a huge selection

Don't know why Kia fits Pirelli P6000 to its cars. It is a touring summer tire. Very noisy on most types of road. Very hard. Dry grip is good, wet grip moderate and not good in winter.

These are the first and last Pirelli's I will have on a car. They cope badly in snow and ice, and even struggle in slush. I have a large amount of experience driving in all road conditions (35k miles per annum) and have to report that these tires struggle in wintery conditions. As I drive a Company car I have little say in what is put on my car, but my understanding is that these are used because they are hard wearing. However, I will refuse any more Pirelli's to be fitted on my car in future.

Have always been a Michelin man until bad wear on Primacy HP, tried Continental Premium contact 2 ( again tires did only 17000 miles on Motorways). Tried Pirelli P6000 Powergy and I have to say they have been the best tire wear I have experienced. Just taken off the rears after 35000 miles with still 3mm on, but with winter approaching wanted more tread. Sad to say cannot find any more of these, (Pirelli have dropped range). The only thing I would add is tread does not look to have a good grip for snow so have decided to try winter Vredestein tires for the first time. Wanted to buy some P6000 for spring and summer to store but as I said non availabe.

Average tire does what it says on the tin.

Were on car when bought, looked to have heaps on tread, but after 10000km rears are gone. Just OK in dry, but terrible in the wet - dangerous, no feedback! Replacing now, would not buy again.

I have Pirelli P6000 J tires on my S type Jag. In the dry they hold the road well but when wet beware when going through roundabouts. Twice I have skidded while going round two different roundabouts during wet weather and before anyone suggests that I was driving too fast, the caravanette beside me didn't skid and I was driving at the same speed.

I am now looking for another type of tire as these are in my opinion dangerous in wet weather.

Not bad when new in dry condition, not good on wet when new.
After 20000km they start to lose grip in the dry and become very dangerous in the wet even with the thread looking good,
