Writing about the Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact

They have good traction and feel with low-displacement, low-horsepower bikes. From 600cc onwards, grip leaves much to be desired. I also had a rear tire with a manufacturing defect that wasn't recognized as such and no compensation was accepted. Customer service is truly poor...

Done nearly 5000 miles with these throughout spring and summer, excellent in every way, they inspire confidence in the dry and are surprisingly grippy in the wet.
They’ve lasted longer than a previously tested set of Michelin Power RS with equivalent performance. I’d put the Michelins on for a long road trip approximately halfway through the life of the Corsa 2s then switched back after about 3800 miles and the Corsa 2s felt better.
My new set will be the Corsa 2.

Absolutely amazing grip in all conditions on my 959 Panigale. No problem in planting your knee firmly into the ground once the front has warmed up a bit. Yet to do a trackday on them but I feel 100% confident that they'll do an excellent job. Also rode from Dorset to LeMans and back via mostly French motorway, yet hardly any “squaring off†at all.
