Warning! Do not buy the standard tires if you have a staggered setup and RWD. Only OEM spec (star, MO, GO, etc).
I had a combination of 225/40R19 front with 255/35R19 on the rear. This is the standard for my car. And yet, on dry roads, in a straight line, the TC would cut power under acceleration.
After measuring the circumference of fronts and rears I found a difference of more than 2% in circumference between fronts and rears. This means a difference of 3km/h between front and rear wheels at highway speed. And under acceleration the rears would slip just enough to trigger TC.
Continental did not care about this. They said it’s normal to have a tolerance between -2% and +1% in circumference in the normal tires. They only limit these differences for OEM tires.
If you have a RWD and care about your life, don’t buy these.

On the road you can fill every crack, even smallest. On wet road you can't start moving quickly, it will slipper, sometimes even on dry roads.

I replaced the Michelin PS4s on my M340i with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and find them much more comfortable for daily driving, with much less road noise. Grip and feedback is good, but the downside is that I get some understeer when pushing the front in roundabouts. In comparison, the PS4s are more like driving on rails, but those come with the downside of being a bit too twitchy and having more road noise.
I guess next time I might go back to the PS4s , or maybe Goodyear Supersports

I came from a set of Michelin PS4S in a staggered 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 setup on a 2015 F31 335d which met their untimely demise on a pothole. I replaced the full set with these through BMW as it was convenient at the time (council was paying). I'm running a 300bhp diesel estate which got about 10k from the rear PS4S's (down to about 1mm) with the fronts still at 4.5mm, with 50/50 trunk and twisty country roads with a little weight in the back. Even with uprated pads in the 370mm brakes I still run out of brakes so I do drive hard, but while some complain that the X drive chassis understeers I never found it with the Michelins. However, with the Pirellis, like all other Pirelli's performance tires I've used over the years across a number of cars, they don't turn in with any precision. On dry roads they do turn in but are woolly, and on wet roads they actually glide quite readily on turn in to the point where I'm a gear down on normal and turning in 2-3m earlier at 60mph just to get the front to bite where you want to - on Michelins this just isn't the case. And of course because you're having to be more aggressive at the front this then swings the back around more aggressively too. Understeer on corner entry leads to oversteer on exit if you're using the power to get the car turned through the corner effectively. The upshot of this is that in the wet the car feels unstable on these tires, and braking performance is reduced too with very heavy braking triggering the ABS way more than I have been used to on this car in the last 60k miles. If all of this was only at 10/10ths driving then they could be forgiven but they're not. They're unimpressive, uninspiring and lacking in confidence across the breadth of metrics. They don't even wear well (unlike the also underwhelming OEM Bridgestone S001's which at least lasted to 30k miles on my car), as at 5k miles the rear tires are down below 4mm. Very poor tires and I suspect will be replaced after the winter (I use separate winters) rather than put back on until they're worn out. Another fail for damp and greasy British roads from Pirelli.

An excellent all round tire. I have these on both my Ford Puma ST and my Toyota GR Yaris.
I'm surprised by the longevity of the PS4S tire. I've done 25,000 miles in the Puma and the treads are down to 3.8mm (F) and 4.8mm (R), so still plenty of life left.

These tires came with my used Tesla model three, so I don't know about treadwear. But what I can say with surety is that, due to wet handling performance (or lack of!), I would never ever buy these tires again. Too dangerous, with sudden traction failure under mild turning force in any but ideal conditions. Also, I'm used to parallel parking by rubber-on-curb feel (think non-performance car), and the fact that the rims actually stick out PAST this tire's sidewall is super annoying, what with a mess of curb rash on my rims now, before getting used to the lack of tire feel.

Looking for an alternative tire to replace run flats on my BMW 4 series. Did some research and liked the sound of the effex sport TH202, coupled with Triangles commitment to the American market. Fitted 4 new tires in April 2023 and I have found them to be excellent for grip in the dry and the wet unless you are pushing them hard, when you will suffer a small margin of understeer. They made a hugely noticeable difference in terms of ride comfort and noise from Bridgestone run flats which I was very pleased about. The only downside for me is the longevity of the fronts. I’m having to replace them (Aug 2024), having covered 14000 miles in 15 months. Having said that, the rears are still going strong and probably good for another 8-10000 miles and if you compare the cost, (I paid £340 fitted, for 4 Triangle tires), with that of the major brands, it makes perfect sense. I would definitely buy again, unfortunately out of stock and can’t find them anywhere so have to resort to paying through the nose for a major brand.

After watching a review on YouTube comparing 3 premium tires I went for the pilot 4s. Instantly transformed the ride quality and reduced road noise I had from mid range run flats. Fantastic feedback turning into corners. Sticks to the road like sh*t to a blanket. Really happy with my purchase. Haven't yet tried them in the wet as they are only on the car a few days but for my driving style they are superb.

In the summer of 2023, I bought my first performance car (Ford Puma ST Ultimate, 200hp 320Nm). Since I still needed winter tires, I started looking at all Tire Reviews' tests to investigate which seemed to be the best choice for me. I was looking for an all-rounder, one that scored above average in all areas. I live in Belgium, so scoring well in wet conditions was a priority. For me, this tire feels super. Loses practically nothing of its sporty performance, excellent grip when accelerating and cornering.
Due to circumstances, I also drove for a few days in dry and sunny weather (20°C) and even then I was impressed by this tire. I will repurchase this one immediately!

Cannot stand all the reviews on tires like these by people who think they are professional racing drivers. These tire’s do a job, They are a budget tire. Wet grip isn’t amazing but dry grip is more than good enough for normal day to day driving, The only thing that really lets this tire down for me personally with my experience and the reason i am getting rid of them after a few thousand miles is the out edge tread has worn in such a way it now rumbles when driving at motorway speed.

These were factory issue for my BMW 330i G21.
Initially good ride quality (better than PZ4 RFT) however, towards the end of the their life they became very noisy and hard feeling. One tire developed a bulge. Poor wear.
Ended up replacing them with Goodyear Asymmetric 4 go flats and they are substantially quieter and better riding.

Second set of GY SS (mix fitment 255 35 R19, 225 40 R19) i've tried ps 4s and Bridgestone PSS in between howewer, there is something about these GY SS that it making me happy... overall dry grip is comparable to semi slick tire and unlike Michelin or Bridgestone these tires can tolerate a lot more abuse on track before overheating. Oweral dry grip is insane as well as feedback , steering is super responsive hi speed directionall stability is excelent.
Wet grip is realy good comparable with Michelin PS4, solid grip in the wet with slightly less tolerance for aquaplaning (obviously it is not designed to be competition rain tire so be careful while exploring limits :)
Treadwear, comfort and noise level... as expected from uuhp tire (spirited driving 15000km max)
