I was skeptical at first. The tire looks heavy but surprisingly it is consuming less fuel than the goodyear asymmetric 3(which are completely garbage).
I am very satisfied so far, I have not tried them on snow and ice yet. I would buy them again.

Completely deformed tires after 1 year of usage. Try to balance them 2 times, but after some kilometers you still can feel terrible shaking, strongly don't recommend this tire to anyone. I'm very disappointed with Goodyear, I will not buy Goodyear tires anymore for sure.

Had sunny tires tires fitted all round. After 1000 miles the road noise was deafening. Contacted seller and was told what do you expect from budget tires. Cracks had started to appear between the treads. Had the car checked by a mechanic for wheel bearings due to the noise but they were fine front and back.
The noise got even worse with wear.
After 5000 deafening miles I bit the bullet and replaced them with Devanti tires. Results is bliss I can hear my engine again.
Unless you have a wheel barrow I would advise not to fit sunny tires although they may be good for children’s swings.

Grip in both dry and wet is simply amazing. Steering response and precision are not great, and that is putting it mildly, both of those are due to a very soft side wall, but you will have a hard time finding a tire that grips more than the evo3 (when the steerig lock is big enough to make it grip). Inspite of the lackluster responsivenes and feedback, it is really easy to drive at the limit as the tire is very forgiving to driver errors.
While the wet grip is very good, the tire does tend to aquaplane a lot sooner than similar tires from other manufacturers. This is probably the quietest tire I have ever driven. Somehow this tire eats up smaller bumps as if you are riding on air, but is terrible at handling bigger bumps. So far I also observed a surprising resistance to punctures displayed by this tire, but this seems to be one of the most often overlooked achievements of most premium manufacturers in the last 10 years.

Used same 4 tires on my previous 2wd and now on my 4wd. Driven alot on snow and ice (Sweden) for three seasons. Only had one minor incident when grip was lost (extremely icy condition with melted water on top during overtake). Beside from this situation I am extremely satisfied with the tires and would recommend them.

First I experienced, that it is very comfortable, and silent, compared to my previous Pirelli winter, and not far from my summer GY asy6 (which is the best , so even close to that is a great thing). The dry grip is pretty fine, did not force it much, but very confident in fast corners. The only recognisable thing, is that the brake distance could be bigger (again...compared to the best UUHP summer)
Then came the monsoon rain. The grip is pure magic. No aquaplan, superb grip, and I tried to drift...cornering with full throttle as a test, but it just grips like hell LOVE it!

After about 50-60cm of tail. moving, it suddenly gripped/stopped...the lateral grip is magical.
I'm actually mesmerized by this. Goodyear is a killer. Leader tires for affordable prices. :D

I use it as a winter tire, since here it's more like a cold spring with rare snowing days; but if you dont care about the last 1% of dry grip, then no summer is needed next to it.

I'm reviewing the Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season plus 2. I'm assuming that's the U.S. version of what you call the SF2. If not please delete this review or move it to the right place. They were decent tires when new though I found them to be noisy on course pavement and nibbly on grooved concrete.
The biggest problem with them is that despite having a 70,000 mile warranty they are hydroplaning so badly at 24,000 miles that I have to get rid of them.
In heavy rain they are incredibly dangerous. I've almost lost control of the car twice in the last week so they are coming off immediately. This is on an
all wheel drive Mercedes which is normally a very stable car. And I wasn't even cornering, when I hit water on the road the car would start skittering around in random directions.

Let me begin by saying I drive like a maniac in the snow and icy conditions, I try to pass cars and avoid them spinning out on me so I pass most people. I have a very aggressive driving style once the snow hits the ground. I don't risk this style on turns with the michelin x ice 3 tires as cornering is a little risky for me. As far as driving surfaces that these tires do well with I would say dry pavement 9/10, wet 7/10 (caught some understeer going into a corner too quickly) and rugged ice 8/10, light slush/sleet 9/10. Deep snow over 4 inches I can't really say cause we don't get much deep snow in spokane WA, city cleans it up very quickly. For anything under 3 inches these tires do very well. Drove 10k miles on them and am down to 9/32 and 8/32s. I bought these tires in New condition but aged (made in 2017) they still do very well to drive in the conditions described prior. On polished ice or Deep snow I'm not sure how well they'll perform to a studded tire. On polished ice they don't do very well especially going down hill, caught me by surprise a few times. I get amazing traction very good bite on acceleration and they do well with braking, honestly I'm very impressed.

The dry grip feeling is really superior, the sensations are that of a Bridgestone Potenza without a doubt. In the wet, the grip is very good, greater than the audacity of any average driver. Due to the width of my tire (245/45 R17), when hitting a deep puddle, the braking is felt on the suspension wishbones, like with any other tire of this width. I would recommend it for use in summer and rainy days, although with deep puddles and wet road markings you have to take the same precautions as with any other wide sports tire.

Replaced all 4 tires on a Volvo V70 D5 with Avon ZV7. No issues at all with how they drive, both with a driver only or 4/5 passengers & a full load. However, after just 6 months & 11k miles I noticed the front tires were wearing at a significantly faster rate in the centre than the outer edges & rear tires. Having had them checked at a tire centre, I was advised that they are wearing in the centre due to motorway driving. Centres 3mm, inner & outer edges 5mm & rears 6-8mm (hardly worn really). Tire pressures have always been monitored. Having read other reviews, it appears that these Avon's have a soft tire wall which seems to struggle to bear the weight of a heavy diesel engine. The tire depot had no other advice than to just let them wear out & replace them! Really disappointed, as expected to get 20k miles out of the fronts & a lot more from the rears (I may achieve this). Previous Good Year, although more expensive, lasted 20k+ on the front. Wouldn't put Avon's on a diesel car again - will look for another mid-range alternative.
