Continental UltraContact rated 83% while driving a BMW 318
Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 spirited miles
Was looking for new rubber for my e36 318i, CC7 or UC7 few bucks more, so UC7 it is.
I was really surprised how well the grip is on the dry and wet!
I cant wheel spin on dry with a 110hp manual car using this UC7 and wet grip were almost perfect for Malaysia's road!
At these price 53usd/pc, im satisfied and a happy spirited driver...

Michelin Energy Saver Plus rated 89% while driving a Volkswagen Golf
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
In past 4 years, I had a two sets of Michelin Energy Saver+

First one I had from april to november of 2021, I bought a used set of 4 for only 30 Eur, three tires were manufactured in 2017 and one in 2018. They were 185/65 R15, two had about 3-4 mm and other two about 5-6 mm tread depth left. I just needed something cheap, for one season on a cheap daily car, because car was on some 20 years old Bridgestone's. So 5 years old Michelin's for 30 Eur, in that case, looked like a far better option.

Second one was bought in early spring of 2023, I have it and use it until this day. Second set are 195/55 R15. I bought a full set for 120 Eur, tires were made in Poland, was with around 6.5-7 mm tread depth, and without any signs of previous repairs. All in all - looked like a great choice, because for that price, I couldn't buy even any of the cheapest sets. Brand new Michelin Energy Saver+ in this size was around 140 Eur per tire or around 550€ per set. So 120 Eur for a set of used, but great condition premium tires? Just perfect.

Dry - they are great for dry roads, feels stable, have plenty of grip.
Wet - I use them more carefully on wet roads, especially after reading tire tests and people reviews that they are a little weaker in the wet. But in my experience there wasn't any unpleasant moments or aquaplaning on wet roads, even with quite low tread depth (on first set, rear tires had only about 2-3 mm tread depth left, when I removed them in autumn to replace summer wheels with a winter wheels set), maybe because of precautions and calm driving when raining outside.
Road feedback - knowing fact, that they aren't oriented for super sharp or sporty driving and they are just a premium touring tires - feedback is good enough.
Handling - is great on dry roads, on wet roads I use tires more carefully, especially carefully was used a first set with quite low tread depth, but still - handling was safe enough even in wet conditions.
Wear - I would say it's 10/10, but I had experience with a two different sets, so more deeply:
● First set of tires were 185/65 R15, DOT 2017-2018, had only 3-4 mm tread depth on rear and 5-6 mm on front, but after full summer season and about 8000 km - it was still about 2-3 mm tread depth left on the rear and about 4-5 mm left on the front, that was a late autumn of 2021 and tires were manufactured in 2017 (one tire in 2018, I guess one, from original set, was damaged unrepairable, so previous owner bought one new tire to complete a set), and 3 of 4 were started to show some cracks on sidewalls. Front ones was still usable, but I decided not use any of them at all.
● Second set of tires were bought used too, 195/55 R15, DOT 2020, made in Poland, all tires had around 6.5-7 mm tread depth when I bought them in march of 2023. After two seasons and around 15'000 km I measured tread depth of them a month ago and there are still around 5-5.5 mm left. Because they are assimetric, I rotate them after every summer season, I pick two (with more tread depth) for front axle and two (with less tread depth) for rear axle, I have found that this method works out best to achieve even wear, because front tires on FWD cars, even without any wheel spins, wears out a little bit quicker. Tires are more than a 4 years old now, but I can't see any noticable signs of cracking, so I will continue using them in the future summers.
Comfort - how it was on my first set, it's same and on my second set - they were and they are very quiet and not too hard, I should say - well balanced in terms of hardness and quite comfortable overall.

In my experience - tires are great in dry, good enough in wet, predictible in handling and gives enough road feedback, also very long lasting and not noisy at all. I bought my first set quite accidently and didn't knew what to expect from them, but even 5 years old used tires - were very comfortable, very quiet and quite good overall. So, when I saw my second set, which was only slightly more than 2 years old, with tread depth of almost a new tire - I knew that they will be even more perfect. And honestly - those Michelin's were (and still are) greatest summer tires, that I had in my entire life.

P.S. don't forget to wash your wheels regularly.

Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE004 rated 79% while driving a Honda Jazz
Driving on a combination of roads for 18600 average miles
I am a driver who occasionally drives aggressively on city roads, and I was pleasantly surprised by the response it gave me. The performance on dry roads was outstanding, and I could confidently push the limits of every curve on mountain roads. The performance on rainy days/wet roads was also acceptable, and it was not easy to slip. The tires I used before were BFGoodrich's Advantage Touring 185/60/15, and the difference between the two is really huge! Anyway, in this price range, the RE004 is really a very clear choice

Three A Farroad FRD 16 rated 30% while driving a Ford Fiesta
Driving on mostly motorways for 97450 spirited miles
I had to buy 2 pairs of FRD16 as an emergency replacement for my budget cars mismatched and worn tires. At time if purchasing this brand and model were available at the tire shop. I paid £67 for each tire for the fitment. I usually drive on motorways at 70mph + every day. I travel 60 mile in each day between my home and job place. I found the ride fairly bumpy, jumpy and noisy. Therefore, I wouldn't reccomend these tire for frequent high speed motorway users... I also experienced a near miss hydroplaning at nearly 50 mph on a heavy rain on the motorway. FRD 16s' unsatisfactory wet performance is obviously noticeable whenever you hit the water puddles in the road on a rainy days at relatively high speeds. I think these tires are well suited for a low speed city commuting in a congested traffic.

Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 rated 66% while driving a Mitsubishi Proton Wira(4G15)
Driving on a combination of roads for 31000 average miles
New tires noise level acceptable not too noisy, but once used half the tread, the noisy level becomes annoying.
Confident spirited driving in wet or dry roads, even when tread left about 20%.
This tire should be able to last about 50k-60k km if maintain regularly.
However I didn't buy the same model this time, because the noise level is just not for me. Opted for Assurance Maxguard this time.

Sailun Atrezzo Elite rated 80% while driving a Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI
Driving on a combination of roads for 42500 average miles
This tire is great. Since I don't have that fast of a car I can't really test its limits, but for everyday normal driving this tire is awesome. Handling feels good, as well as overall feeling behind the wheel, even when pushing in corners. I am impressed by the mileage I got with it. I will be driving my car with this tire until the end of this summer season, and it's still solid. Replacing it due to age of tire (would be 6 and a half years for the next season).

Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 average miles
First set bought year 2020, It was good all the way. Year 2024, changed another set just over the weekend. The product over the price, I have no complaint. This is comparable to Eagle F1, but for half the price only.

Prestivo PV S1 rated 76% while driving a Ford Fiesta mk7
Driving on mostly motorways for 50000 easy going miles
Bought 4 tires in 2021, 50,000+ miles and 3 years laters they're only just getting near the legal limit (front) and passed all MOTs. They're a bit noisy but that's my only complaint.

Marshal MU12 rated 90% while driving a Toyota Vios
Driving on mostly town for 1 spirited miles
Was using Toyo Proxes TR1 previously. The tire tend to be noisy after 30% wear although Dry Grip and Wet Grip are good. Just changed to this Marshal MU12 after strong recommendation by Tire Shop. Driven for 1,500km. Everything was better than my expectation compared to my previous set

Firestone RoadHawk rated 73% while driving a Ford Fiesta Mk7.5
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Bought two of these recently to replace the front tires on a Fiesta Mk7.5. The price was similar to other midrange tires and after some miles they are wearing ok. In terms of handling dry grip is good with less understeer than Turanza or Bluresponse tires. Wet grip is decent, especially over standing water, and steering feel is lighter but more precise than Turanza or Bluresponse. The noise and fuel economy are not noticeably better or worse than other tires I've used, but the Bluresponse was softer over bumps. Overall a decent midrange tire you can use everyday with no significant penalties.

Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125 rated 81% while driving a Volkswagen Polo 6R 1.6 Tdi Bluemotion
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
Been fitted on my Polo for more than a year now. The grip on dry road is exceptional, way more than I was used to with my old Goodyear efficient grip perf. even when these were new. The car is planted and stable at cornering and aggressive inputs to the steering wheel. Dry braking is also very good. I've pushed these tires hard on twisty mountain roads and I can tell you these are very good performers.

In the rain they perform well and with no surprise. No aquaplanning noted but always driving safely when wet.

Wear seems a bit much, they appear to be at 75% life remaining after one year and 15000Km. This was to be expected from the good dry grip. You lose some you win some.

I'd buy again for the price and performance but I hope the new pattern will be available on my size when I change these.
