In July this year I bought these Alltoura 4 Season tires to replace 4 Davanti DX640s which were at the end of their life. Overall, I had been very pleased with the DX640 and so I thought I would stick with the brand. I chose the Alltoura because I live in rural North East Lancashire and drive along roads that can be quite hazardous in the winter. In these conditions, being rear wheel drive, my car can be a nightmare to drive on summer tires.
Last week we had our first fall of snow followed by a hard frost and then a rapid thaw resulting in very slippery conditions.
I felt totally confident with the Alltoura; the grip on snow, ice and in the wet was very good although I was being less enthusiastic with my right foot.
During the summer months I found that the dry grip and cornering of the Alltoura was comparable to the DX640s, similarly for their performance in the wet even at motorway speeds.
They are very quiet and comfortable.
I had them sourced and fitted by a small, local independent tire fitter and the price came in at just over £100 a corner.

During the summer months I found that the dry grip and cornering of the Alltoura was comparable to the DX640s, similarly for their performance in the wet even at motorway speeds.
They are very quiet and comfortable.
I had them sourced and fitted by a small, local independent tire fitter and the price came in at just over £100 a corner.

I bought this tire after I read review on this site,I fit it on my audi a4 allroad and this tire is awesome.Im completely blown away in wet driveing ,I drive through water deep 4-5cm with 80-100km/h and I dont have 1mm feedback to my steering wheel nothing to pull itd from my hands...In the dry condition tire is excellent.I drive a little bit on snow and ice and I think its great.This is best tire I ever have.

One of the best tires I've fitted to my car. No problem handling my 2 ton A6 C6 3.0tdi quattro in dry or wet. Very progressive near the limits, in wet and dry.
First noticable aquaplaning started occuring when the tread depth got down to wear limit (1.6mm) and even so, the aquaplaning was progressive and very controllable, unlike the kind that cheap tires have that tend to suddenly lose all grip.
Was expecting a lot more than 28 000 km out of these tires althought they are the first premium tires I've bought new and driven to the absolute end of life so maybe my expectations are too high.

Average tires really.

They are not bad as a budget tire, but you will be much well of by spending a bit and getting a decent set of Michelin's for example.

The price of the tires is low and they are made in Germany, but they are considered harsh and make annoying noises when driving the car. I will not buy this type again.

Had these to prepare for UK winter conditions for safety over my summer tires (Goodyear Eagle F1 5), and already can feel improved comfort and ride. It's hard to describe really but it just feels better to drive.
Wet is fantastic and I feel much more confident on such surfaces at higher speeds. Dry is the same, and I mostly drive on both country and town roads. Have experienced motorway with these too and the same feeling of confidence and comfort. So I couldn't be happier with the tires.
Yet to experience the tires on ice or snow but I've full faith in them.

Bridgestone Turanza 6 rated 59% while driving a BMW 530D Xdrive Msport

Smooth and comfortable tire with very low rolling resistance.
Wear is terrible, almost done after one summer (10k miles 16k km), and as others have pionted out, they wear out the middle part of the tire first. (2.9 bar 42 psi).
I replaced them with Michelin PS5 this spring, and they have almost run the same distance as the Turanza 6 before they got replaced, and the wear is not even noticable. I did a visual check on them when i put the winter tires on, and they look almost new!
The PS5 is also very comfortable, maybe slightly noiser. They are not as good as Turanza 6 on rolling resistance, but i suspect they they will get better as they wear down. Superb handling and they look very good.
All things considered, the PS5 is a much better tire choice.

What a tire! Bought the tire for my A6 Avant 3.0tdi Quattro to replace the Fulda tires which were really terrible on this car. The eagle f1 SS have now done over 57000km and just measured the tread depths as I am selling the car; still 4mm all around!!! Just mindblowing. Apart from the impressive wear figures, the tire has been really good, especially dry handling and stability at high speeds(lots of Autobahn on them). But also nothing to complain about wet grip, never had any iffy moments on them but run a set of winter tires when below 10 deg C. Comfort is always a thing when these tires are reviewed and although it is not most comfortable, it was not an issue on my A6 (with air suspension though), combined with 18in 245/45 tires. So in short, wonderful tire for a heavy powerful diesel, grippy, stable, and amazing wear!

I was looking forward to the release after seeing the reviews on this site. It will be sold in Japan from 2024, so I had to wait about two years, and I thought about buying parallel imports, but I put on the genuine product and was impressed with how it drove.
I have an NV36 Skyline sedan, and my previous tires were Eagle F1A3, and I drove 30,000 km on it.
I also have Bridgestone Reguno GR-XI 225/55R17 tires, which have low grip and sports performance, but have a good reputation for comfort.

I think we need to spread the word more about how great this tire is, especially in Japan.

I just retired my 4x Pilot Sport 4 tires, as the last two annual car services recommended replacement, with the most recent one stating 10% tread depth remaining (to legal limit). So I swapped them for Pilot Sport 5s on my RWD Benz w213 e300. These tires were rotated every 10k km, balanced and alignment done. So overall the treadware has been very even. I ran 38 psi on rears and 35 psi on fronts throughout on mostly highway roads.
To be honest the tires still had tread remaining, and I expect I may have gotten another year and 10k kms out of them till the wear indicators became flush with the tread. The only reason I swapped early is to avoid any insurance liability given the past 2 service recommendations on the car. This is a real shame, as the tires are great at 40k km.
From day 1 they were really smooth and rounded off bumps and edges very smoothly to the cabin. The dry grip was excellent for a heavier 255hp mid torque car. I did feel in the last 10k kms though that sometimes it was giving into barely noticeable slippage on the rears during cornering at highway speeds. But overall the grip was still 9/10 for all intents and purposes till yesterday. Taking off at the lights, it gave me immediate response and always performed it like it was a piece of cake. They never had any hesitation or squealing when I needed sudden bursts of acceleration to overtake all the bumbling rav4s in my neighbourhood.
Wet grip was also amazing till now, it evacuates with a lot of spray out the back and feels planted on the roads at highway speeds. I never felt any aquaplaning on it. I always had immense confidence on these tires and in my car to drive at the speed limit in the cold wet roads of Melbourne. It may be a different story in tropical climes where you get fat raindrops and torrential rain; but in an English temperate wet climate, these have always performed perfectly.
My sole objective for putting on these tires initially were to get the most comfort at the highest safety margins which ruled out touring tires that are comfortable but are not as responsive as these high performance tires. To this end, it excelled. One time in early summer of their first year, we were up in the mountains when temps suddenly dropped to -3’C and a snowstorm hit. These tires still drove safely on the accumulating snow for as long as they could and only gave up on an uphill with black ice. These aren’t designed for those cold temps and those tread patterns, so to me they gave me a whole lot more that one time I asked it off them.
Comfort wise, my wife noticed that these PS4 tires were marginally more floaty and smooth riding compared to my 1 day old PS5 tires on the highway yesterday. On the other hand, I notice that the PS4s had slightly more noticeable tire noise coming into the excellently insulated w213 cabin, in comparison to the new PS5 tires. And I also noticed that tire noise on these PS4’s had gotten louder in the last 10k km of ownership.
So all in all, the tires were ageing, but it did everything I needed from them very, very well. That’s probably why I have no regrets swapping them out 10k kms prematurely. They would easily have gone another 10k kms to reach their tread wear indicator, with some accompanying minor performance degradation otherwise, I feel.
Overall I am very happy with the product. It fit my needs and my driving style perfectly.

The tires seem to struggle with the weight of the car. Sloppy handling in curves and massive vibrations on highways. I increased the pressure to the max. as indicated in the manual. This made it bearable. Not much comfort provided by the tires.
