Usually used all season tires but missed the performance of a summer tire in the summer so thought these being designed with a bias for wet weather might be a bit of a half way house between a all season tire and a summer tire in the winter. They do what they say on the tin and have very good aqua planning resistance but I wouldn’t say they are any better in the wet than any other premium summer tire. Comfort is good and they don’t seem to be very noisy either.

Very noisy on rough surfaces, it seems to suffer from potholes because it drags a lot more noise, excellent support on wet surfaces, in my opinion it suffers a bit from aquaplaning. Average braking on wet surfaces.
On dry surfaces I noticed that it delays the steering response, it seems to float and then leans on the curve, definitely an excellent grip but you have to understand this behavior.
I came from the icep evo 3 and the steering response seemed more direct and sporty as the sensation of aquaplaning was better but on wet surfaces they were k.o. Compared to the SF3. I have to try it on snow, I hope I won't be disappointed by the grip on snow

İ've been using it since it was first released last year. İn İstanbul where I live it doesn't snow much but just to climb mountains in winter times I bought this set of tires. Thr previous model was already known as the best in the snow but by this model it got better on the cold and dry surfaces. On wet it wasn't bad at all. My summer tires are Conti PC7 and after them in the cold weather conditions I felt comfortable and safe. On the snowy hill climbs the feedback from the steering was satisfying as well. The tiresalesman said that he pattern of this model looks a little like the ones on the Nokian tires. If your priority is pushing the limits for fun on snow, this is the one for the money.

Driving on mostly country roads for 28580 average miles
Bought them in april 2022 and i used them during spring, summer and autumn then i switched to winter tires each year so far.
The grip is amazing both on dry and wet roads, the braking distance is very little, the accuracy and feedback is very good, they are silent and comfortable.
There is a BUT, all that i said above was valid during the first 2 seasons of usage, after that, the grip became way worse and the tires are now slippery as fuck, especially on wet roads.
They are fantastic tires for the price but i strongly suggest to use them just during the first 2-2,5 years.
By the way, now they have 46.000km and the tire tread has 4mm left.

Driving on mostly town for 20 spirited miles
At first, these tires were pretty good. More uncomfortable than the typical tire but it is a run flat so that is expected. It's when I modified my car that these tires really had to go (ordering CSC7's). The car is already insane and having these tires do not help at all. I have little to no grip in the wet and it doesn't improve much in the dry to be honest. I skid a lot now, wheelspinning everytime and it's now scary to drive... Bear in mind I still have about 4mm left. I drive normal conditions majority of the time, but when it comes to spirited driving, hell no I wouldn't recommend these. The ride was always rough but after doing some research, turns out everyone else feels the same way..

Most of the miles so far have been in warmer spring/summer/autumn weather. While not being very quiet or comfortable they do grip reasonably well. The last few weeks have been significantly colder and wetter meaning the driving experience hasn't been so great. Wheelspin/traction control is a regular occurence leaving junctions at moderate throttle and the overall feeling on these tires doesn't give a lot of confidence

I've run these on the front of my car for some time now and they've finally worn out. Although I didn't rate the tire that much on the back of my car, it seemed much more suited to the front of a rear wheel drive car where it wasn't having to put the power down. Safe comfortable front end and lasted for a decent number of miles too.

Following on from my original review 12 months ago... I'm still impressed with the tires. After nine thousand miles, they look to be wearing well. Comfort and cabin noise levels are still impressive.
The only negative I've found with them is that when cornering at higher speeds they aren't as grippy as my previous Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires.
That's only to be expected, as the Cross Climate 2 is an all season tire as opposed to the Pilot Sport 4 being a summer performance tire.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rated 84% while driving a Kia Motors Pro ceed
Driving on mostly country roads for 23000 spirited miles
Came fitted as standard on my 2020 Proceed GT. Generally a very good tire I can't overly complain about. The only issue I've been having was traction when starting from a stop (204hp fwd dct), but that was probably only partially the tires' fault.

Excellent levels of grip in the dry combined with amazing handling made the car unstoppable at cornering. Road feedback was very good and responsive. Wet grip was good, but traction in the wet was again suboptimal - cold tire wet handling was also slightly suboptimal. Once it got going and everything warmed up the tires were resistant to aquaplanning and gripped well.

The comfort was pretty good for a sporty tire. Wear wise I'd consider it normal. Overall a very good and safe tire for sporty driving, but there are now newer versions available.

Great for everyday use if you are a calm driver, those tires have nothing to do with "sport". Understeer and lack of information from the road are main problems, they move around in the corners so much that you feel like the rims are about to touch the asphalt. However they are pretty good on wet surface and with over 20k kilometers of dynamic driving i only noticed less than half of tread wear. I'd not buy again.

Nexen N Fera SU1 rated 44% while driving a Ford Mondeo ST220
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 average miles
After 20000 miles and 3 years on my Mondeo ST220, I would not recommend these tires. Two tires failed the MOT test after approx 15000 miles with sidewall cracking, at a point where they were dangerous. 5000 miles later, one of the remaining 2 started to delaminate the tread. All 4 have gone now, replaced with Goodyear F1 assymetric 6, far superior all round. The Nexen's grip was distinctly average in the dry, not at all predictable in the wet. Steering feel was poor, just heavy all the time, with no change in weighting. A complete contrast to the Goodyears, where you can feel the road surface change and the weighting vary as the grip leve and cornering speed changes. For comfort and wear they were OK, but seemed to have quite a high rolling resistance. Overall, based on my experience, I would NOT buy again, and considering that 2 had failed after 2 years and 15000 miles, I would consider them dangerous.
